Edgar was born and raised in Mexico City where he received his bachelor’s degree in culinary arts. After completing his schooling, Edgar moved to Miami and started his culinary career at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami, considered the most luxurious Marriott in the collection at the time. Edgar later moved to Edmonton, Calgary and Kananaskis, Canada, to work at several luxury hotels, restaurants, and convention centers, working up the ranks to Executive Chef.

Although he enjoyed his time in Alberta immensely, in 2021 he was offered an Executive Chef job at a resort in Cabo San Lucas that he couldn’t pass up and he moved to Los Cabos full time. In 2023, Edgar decided to hang up his Chef’s hat after 17 years and pursue a career in Real Estate to achieve a better work/life balance. During Edgar’s time as an Executive Chef he gained exemplary leadership and time management skills and attention to detail, and also learned the importance of exceptional customer service and client satisfaction. He’s excited to apply those skills in his new Real Estate field.

In his free time, Edgar is an avid golfer. He also enjoys running, playing the drums, creating new unique dishes, traveling and spending time with his girlfriend and their 3 dogs.
